Division Guidelines
717 Flying Disc Club divisions names are based loosely on existing PDGA division codes. If you complete regularly in PDGA tournaments, you should choose your division based upon what you normally compete in. On a more formal basis, our divisions are based upon how you perform amongst our group. If you’re a returning member, base your decision on your previous years placement. If you were in the top of Intermediate(MA2) on a regular basis, move up to Advanced/Open(MA1OPN). If you were in the top of REC(MA3), move up to Intermediate(MA2).
This year we’ve added 2 additional divisions. Mixed Amateur 4(MA4) is our lowest level division for brand new players or players that were finishing consistently in the bottom half of our 2023 REC division. In addition to this we’ve added a Mixed Junior 15(MJ15) division. This division is reserved for players age 15 & Under. If your child enjoys hitting the course with you, sign them up and let them compete against others their own age. Junior membership comes at a discounted price of just $5.
UDisc
717 Flying Disc Club utilizes the UDisc app for all scheduling, scorekeeping, and standings. A free UDisc account is required in order to participate in our weekly league rounds. If you don’t already have a UDisc account, sign up is quick and easy. Just follow this link, UDisc Sign-Up to create your free account. Then head to the App Store on your mobile platform and download the free app. Your UDisc username is required during the membership enrollment process, so complete this task prior to filling out the form below. To lookup your existing UDisc username, open the app on your mobile device and click the “Profile” icon at the bottom right. Your username is listed as the “@username” directly below your display name.
- Discount can NOT be retroactively applied to any PDGA membership already renewed for the 2024 year.
- PDGA rules dictate only 33% of the field may be filled from early registration. Club members will receive a code for early registration, but may not get in if the 33% capacity fills quickly.
